ELMS Sports Foundation (ELMS), under the guidance of Pullela Gopichand and Abhinav Bindra, is committed to accelerating the development of our country through a Physically Literate society and high performing athletes. ELMS Sports Foundation is promoted by Mr. Jalaj Dani and Ms. Vita Dani. Reliance Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Reliance Industries Limited, also committed to support ELMS vision.

He is the pioneer of Physical Literacy movement in India. With over three decades of excellence and high performance, he felt the need for inclusive sports for all in the country. Through ELMS foundation, he is keen to take Physical Literacy across India. Committed to improving the quality of physical literacy and knowledge of sports in India, he promotes and helps shapes our vision, and strategy.

He has been the torch bearer of excellence in Indian Sports and has a clear vision of “High Performance and Excellence” in sports. At ELMS, he provides direction on the work we do for high-performance orientation with coaches and sports dministrators. His expertise helps us create a pool of high-performance oriented rofessionals who can contribute to sports development in India across all levels.

Mr Gokul Manjeshwar holds a Masters degree in Commerce majoring in cost accounting and a Master’s degree in Management Studies majoring in Finance. He is an alumnus of the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. He has over 41 years of experience in industry and management consulting which includes a stint in the management consulting practice of Price Waterhouse (currently known as Price Waterhouse Coopers). He worked in Asian Paints Limited, one of the top 10 paint companies in the world, for over 28 years and retired as its Financial Controller. He was also a director on the Board of Asian Paints’ listed and unlisted subsidiaries in Singapore, Jamaica, Thailand, Malaysia & U.K. He is currently an Independent Corporate Advisor and advises corporates, sports entities and ‘not for profit’ organizations. He has mentored students of the post graduate program in Family Managed Business at the S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai. He is also an independent director.

Vita Dani is a sports entrepreneur and philanthropist. She is the founder of the Dani Foundation which supports initiatives that focus on achieving Sustainable Development Goals; through initiatives such as ELMS Sports Foundation, Annamrita, Project Mumbai and Kapadwanj Kelavni Mandal. Her aspiration is to build a better and more sustainable future for all.She is the Co-owner of the ‘Chennaiyin FC’ whose vision has been the silent force behind Chennaiyin FC’s two Indian Super League (ISL) titles (2015 and 2017-18). She is also the Chairperson of 11SPORTS – a company formed to promote and develop Table Tennis in India as well as aims for an Olympic medal for India by 2024 in Table Tennis.

He is a co-promoter of Asian Paints Ltd. He spent over 2 decades in various capacities with the Company which is Asia's third largest paint company and amongst the top ten paint manufacturers in the world. He is the Chairman of the Society and Board of Governors for Indian Institute of Management (Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu), and is a Board member of the National Skill Development Agency (NSDA) as well as a part of the Pradhan Mantri Kaushalya Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) Steering Committee, both of which function under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship of India. He mentors Sportscom, a not-for-profit apex industry body to promote the business of manufacturers of sports goods and service providers to the sports sector. Jalaj Dani is a Trustee of Tribhuvandas Foundation, today better known as AMUL. He is the Vice President of Kapadwanj Kelavani Mandal, which aims to provide affordable and quality education in Kheda and Anand districts of Gujarat, India. Lastly, he is involved closely with HN Reliance Foundation Hospital.
